Teen Killed In ATV Crash, 10-Year Old Critically Injured

A teenager was killed and a 10-year old was critically injured in an ATV accident near Jay Thursday evening.
The Florida Highway Patrol said 17-year old Cheyenne Taylor Glenn of Jay was southbound on Oil Plant Road, about two miles north of Highway 4 when she failed to negotiate an uphill right curve and lost control of her 1999 Yamaha four-wheeler. The vehicle traveled up an embankment, striking several small trees. The four-wheeler then struck a large limb that had fallen and was just off the ground. The limb broke, causing it to strike Glenn and her passenger, Jadynn Dannelley of Jay.
The impact with the limb forced both occupants off the seat of the four-wheeler. Glenn was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash at 5:23 p.m. Dannelley, 10, was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola where she was listed in critical condition early Friday mornig.
The accident remains under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.

Me and Cheyenne have known each other since i was 4 yrs old and we used to stay up late and watch scary movies and watch you tube videos and dance together. Also, tomorrow morning I was told there would be a car wash in Century at one of the stores close to Whataburger, not sure which one. The family needs help with the burial expenses, as, the funeral home will not bury this child until it is paid. Sad situation. Praying they raise enough and people find in their hearts to give.

My prayers go out to they family of Cheyenne! May God give you the strength to come thru such a tough time in your lives! I dont know your pain and couldnt imagine it but Im sure its almost impossible to deal with! I have lost a sibling but not a child and my heart goes out to this young ladies sister as she has lost not only a sister but a best friend! For the young lady that was air lifted may God give you the strength you need to pull thru such a horrific time in your life and give you the strength to make it thru this journey God has given you as you were the last one with this young lady! This is Jadynns dad an step mom. She DOES NOT have a fractured neck! She DOES NOT have an infection in her leg either.. she is scheduled to have another surgery tomorrow to finish cleaning out her leg an hopefully close it up. Her leg (tibia) has a fracture, her liver has a small laceration and her lung is bruised. She is doing pretty good at this point so continue to pray. Also please pray for Cheyennes family. RIP sweet girl.
Dear Lord- Please be with the family and friends of both of these young girls. Growing up around ATVs I know the danger & close calls myself has had. I pray that the family finds peace in their hearts that their little girl is safe with YOU Lord. Such a tragedy this is dear Lord, I can not ask you enough to just put your loving arms around this family as they go about life from now until they are called home as well. Very sad but surreal situation that has happened, VERY sorry to her family, friends, & loved ones who is hurting in this loss to this beautiful young woman!! My prayers are with her family and loved ones & my blessings go out to the other young child involved in the accident!! Thoughts and prayers are with Cheyennes friends and family as the have to come to grasp with such a tragic loss. No parent should have to know what its like to bury a child.
I was not given the pleasure of knowing Cheyenne but from the outpouring of love it is plain to see that she was an amazing young women. Its really sad to see someone taken so suddenly and at such a young age! Rest In Peace sweet angel! I’m in tears this early morning reading this and thinking about my beautiful children… my heart aches for the families involved and their friends.
So tragic and so young, our lord takes the best ones way to early.
