Manna Cuts Ribbon On Renovated, Upgraded Food Pantry

Manna Food Pantries held a ribbon cutting and open house at their newly renovated warehouse facility on Gonzalez Street Tuesday. The Main Pantry renovations were made possible by a grant from the Impact 100 group.

Manna serves those in need in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties  through six pantries located in Pensacola, Ensley, Gonzales, Cantonment, Milton and Jay.

    @Rod, It takes dedicated volunteers or the money to hire someone to be there.

    @Jane, The building is “newly renovated”, but not a new building. Same location. They have done a bunch of work and upgrades down there since it flooded. That was either early this year or last year when it flooded. Can’t remember.

    If it weren’t for the Manna Food Pantry there would be more hungary people here. I am so glad they have a new building…they fill an important need here! Congratulations on the new building!

    The vacated WIC building on Church Street in Century would be an ideal location for a Manna Registration Office/Food Pantry for North End residents.
