Toddler Shooting Suspect Pleads; Expected To Testify Against Pinestraw

June 1, 2013

A toddler shooting suspect entered a plea Friday, and he is expected to testify against a Cantonment man previously profiled on TV’s “America’s Most Wanted”.

Shaquill Besst, 20, pleaded no contest to a lesser charge of second degree murder and now faces a maximum 20 years in prison.  Trial begins next week for his co-defendant, 21-year old Dwayne “Money” Pinestraw, who faces up to life in prison.

The two were charged with the shooting death of 19-month old Ty’Quarius Moultrie and first degree attempted murder for the shooting of 23-year old Vincent Dennis. Pinestraw allegedly shot the child and Dennis on July 15, 2011, when he fired a .45-caliber gun through the window of a Pensacola Village apartment. He was arrested in Texas in December 2011, hours after being featured on the television program American’s Most Wanted.

    REGARDING:
“the dude had to put the baby to the window for a sheild every body know a 19 month old baby cant walk. he put the baby to the window the baby got shot he drooped it ”

You’re saying it doesn’t count because you claim the baby was just in the way of his shot?

Excellent defense. Try to use that one in court.

    David for better education

19 month baby can walk really I hope the defense don’t think that’s gonna work. And so who shot the gun into the house people look out windows everyday without getting shot. I’m not gonna judge here cause what I think does not matter but I will say to brother sometimes saying nothing is best or maybe think a little before you post if you care about your brother do what’s right learn from his mistake stay in school out of the streets maybe go to school for law or something so you can help your brother he’s gonna get costly with wanting food and phone calls or better yet put your self on the other side how would you feel if the other way around think about all this with a open mind not one sided.
