Mary Leona Davis Jones

Mary Leona Davis Jones, age 89, passed away June 10, 2013 after a lengthy battle with leukemia.

Leona was predeceased in death by her husband of 52 years, Archie Eugene Jones; her parents, Jasper Homer Davis and Nellie Dove Davis; her sister, Betty Purvis and brothers, Jasper Davis and Raymond Davis.

She is survived by her daughters, Joyce (Jim) Moore of Dothan, AL , Linda (Ottoway) Fillingim of Cantonment, and Joan (Bob) Ratcliff of Franklin, TN; by her grandchildren, Tim (Sara) Moore, Wesley (Deepa) Moore, Todd (Paige) Fillingim, Emily (John) Skaggs, Arden Ratcliff and Walter Ratcliff; by her great-grandchild, Marshall Skaggs; by her sister Eleanor Stabler; by her brothers, Calvin Davis, Johnnie Davis, Bobbie Davis and Jimmie Davis; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Mike Adkisson, Terry Anderson, Tom Fillingim, Ricky Skaggs, Eddie Tisdale and Lamar Wiggins.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 12th, from 5-7 p.m. at Faith Chapel North Funeral Home. The funeral will be held Thursday, June 13th, 10:00 a.m.. at Faith Chapel North Funeral Home in Cantonment, with Dr. Will Stone officiating. Burial will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Cantonment Building Fund – 118 Morris Ave. Cantonment, FL 32533.

Faith Chapel Funeral Home North is in charge of all arrangments.
