Mack Douglas Thompson, 60, went to heaven on June 22, 2013. Doug retired from the Escambia County School District where he was employed for 37 ½ years as an HVAC supervisor. He enjoyed family gatherings and cooking the meals, especially for the holidays. However, his most pleasurable times were spent with his children and grandchildren. Otis and Gracie were his two puppy dogs which he enjoyed and dearly loved. Doug was an active member of Marcus Pointe Baptist Church.

Preceding Doug in death were his father, Archie Douglas Thompson and his grandparents, Herman and Dora Stringfellow, and several uncles and aunts.
