ECSO: Woman Tosses Puppy Out Of Moving Vehicle In Molino

June 8, 2013

An Alabama woman was jailed Friday after allegedly tossing a puppy out of a moving vehicle in Molino.

Christa Deann Floydroy, 40, of Lincoln, AL, was charged with animal cruelty. Her bond was set at $1,500.

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office  said a couple was driving southbound on Highway 29 near Highway 97 about 8 a.m. when they got into an argument. Floydroy allegedly grabbed the driver’s one-year old puppy known as “Little Bit” and threw him out of the vehicle at an estimated 60 m.p.h.

The driver pulled over to let Floydroy out, and then he went back to rescue the puppy. The puppy was treated at a local veterinary office for road rash but is expected to make a full recovery, Sena Maddison, spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Office, said.

It is a fact that any human that will be intentionally cruel to an animal will be cruel to a human, they are phsycologically impaired………she would be likely to throw a baby out the window as well.

I hope she does not have any kids! I am relieved the driver went back to retrieve the puppy. We could very well be reading that the driver continued on his way. Floydroy , 40 years old throws an innocent and helpless one year old puppy from the window of a moving car. This is an unforgivable act, this is a violent act, this is clearly a person who is dangerous to all living beings. The injustice system will probably sentence her to anger management and counseling. We all know that there is no rehabilitation for this twisted cruelty. She will be released into the community and there will be another victim perhaps not as lucky as Little Bit. It is an unspeakable crime against humanity for anyone to ever abuse, torture, neglect, abandon, starve any living being human or animal. Whoever is not alarmed by this despicable act of cruelty should be feared by the community.

Some of you should care as much for human life as you do for an animal. Babiess, human babies are killed everyday. Is’nt it this person human right to
chose to toss a dog out of a moving car. After all it survived and still will not grow up to discover anything worth while or make a difference in the world. Don’t put someone in jail for killing an unborn child, put the ones that would harm your dog.

I just cannot believe this! How could anyone be so cruel to a little puppy? Puppies love everything and everyone, and are just glad to be here.. I hope this woman pays for this..

so glad for speedy recovery for the puppy! as for her she should do jail time. a lot this cruelty would stop if our system would set an example out of these violators.give her the max!! next time pick on something that can defend its self.hell is a place you can take your next trip to.

I work at the Humane Society in Alabama, & we get these animals with these types of things that happen to them and worse. people like this make me sick! get some help!!

  7. Mikey on June 8th, 2013 11:49 pm

I wouldn’t go to sleep next to someone who would do that to a defenseless animal.

  8. EMD on June 8th, 2013 9:38 pm

I just adopted 2 pups from the shelter. I love them so much. HOW could anyone treat another living thing like that? Especially a dog!!! That is just so sad and crazy. I really thing that anything like that has to be drugs or demonic, or both.

Just a suggestion: break up with her, avoid her, don’t make her mad if possible.
    Wait
    That’s three suggestions.
    Pick any one.

Don’t know what was going on the car, but nothing justifies someone doing that to a poor defenseless puppy. She should have to at least pay vet bills, do community service, and donate to animal shelter regularly.

Anyone this cruel should not be allowed to have ANY animal ever again and should have extremely tight and through watch if she has children. Assume the worse of her in every case unless proven otherwise when it comes to anyone or anything under her care. Take them away if needed. They would be better off with some other family member than this monster.

People who will do this to a puppy will hurt a child. They have no morals or limits they put on their behavior.

  12. Bob on June 8th, 2013 2:25 pm

Send her to an animal care class and give the puppy to someone who will care for it properly.

Let me save the taxpayers some money. No need for prosecution, defense or a lengthy jail term. Send her to me and I will throw her from a vehicle at 80 mph. Punishment should exceed the crime. Therefore she gets an extra 20mph. Then she can pay her own medical bills for recovery. Problem solved.

    She should be thoroughly horse-whipped

  15. dan on June 8th, 2013 10:57 am

good thing bf didnt have a child in there as well or ???? she should serve community service picking up dead animals on roadsides

  16. mick on June 8th, 2013 10:55 am

This woman is a psycho…at least 1 year of cleaning up after the animals at the shelter is in order.. or jail…on second thought give her both…

  17. chrstefl on June 8th, 2013 10:48 am

I don’t understand the mentality of people. As we all know, she will most likely get probation and have a nice day. As for the little puppy he/she will be traumatized for the rest of his/her life. What a moron. What’s wrong with people??

  18. Whatswrongwithppl on June 8th, 2013 9:44 am

What kind of “person” throws an innocent little dog out the window over an argument that the dog was no part of. I hope little bit recovers quickly. Maybe we should launch her sorry behind out of a window @ 60 freakin MPH. SEE HOW SHE LIKES IT!!!!

Ya know, alot of the times I read comments and responses here and wonder what planet they’re living on. This really makes me proud to be in North Escambia. I can only say I am with you 100%!

Animals are GOD’s creatures, you should treat them with love and respect!
And remember you usually get back seven fold, so watch out for nasty rashes!

  21. Rob on June 8th, 2013 8:02 am

Any idea of the condition of the puppy?

People like her should be set on fire!

  22. Matt on June 8th, 2013 7:49 am

If she got tossed out of the window instead, the world would be a better place.

  23. Lynn on June 8th, 2013 7:21 am

You would have to get behind me because I’m first. grrrrrrrrr

  24. DoubleDip on June 8th, 2013 7:12 am

What a shame, she should go to jail.

  25. Pet Lover on June 8th, 2013 6:52 am

She should be put under the jail. The puppy
Did not start the argument. Just an adult acting
    Like child.

  26. Debbie on June 8th, 2013 6:29 am

    My thoughts exactly!

  27. puddin on June 8th, 2013 6:18 am

You can tell a lot about a person by how they treat animals.

  28. all is fair... on June 8th, 2013 6:14 am

let the punishment fit the crime…

  29. dad on June 8th, 2013 6:10 am

What a lowllife. I hope a breakup soon followed. Otherwise “Little Bit” and anyone or thing small and helpless will continue to be in danger everytime this woman gets mad.

  30. JusTina on June 8th, 2013 4:52 am

Karma, is yours all the time whether it’s good or bad… love to see where this one lands her. Prayers and love to the driver and his pup….

  31. Shelley on June 8th, 2013 4:07 am

I’m glad the pup is expected to make a full recovery. That’s where my “be nice” stops!
