Rainbows And More Rain Chances

Light morning showers ended with a colorful rainbow across parts of the North Escambia area Friday morning. There is a  slight to moderate chance of showers through Monday. Here is you official North Escambia area forecast:

• Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 71. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
• Saturday: A slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11am. Partly sunny, with a high near 89. East wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
• Saturday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 72. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light after midnight.
• Sunday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 90. Light south wind becoming southwest 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
• Sunday Night: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 70. Southwest wind around 5 mph.
• Monday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 89. Light northwest wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
• Monday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 68. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
• Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 93. Calm wind becoming northeast around 5 mph.
• Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 67. Calm wind.
