Man Stabbed In The Throat In Flomaton; Man Beat With Tire Iron In Atmore

A beating was reported Thursday night in Atmore, while a man was stabbed in Flomaton. There was no immediate indication that the crimes were related.
One Stabbed In Flomaton
A 27-year old man was reported stabbed in the throat about 10:15 p.m. on Carter Drive in Flomaton, just off Martin Luther King Boulevard.
The man was transported by ambulance to the McDavid Fire Station and then airlifted in critical condition to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola. Reports indicated he suffered multiple stab wounds to the throat from a butter knife.
There was no immediate word of any arrests. Further details have not yet been released by Alabama authorities.
Man Beaten In Atmore
An Atmore was reportedly beaten with a tire iron Thursday night in Atmore.
The incident happened at an unoccupied home on South Road. The victim, identified as 31-year old Ned Bishop, was reportedly attacked by three men. One hit him multiple times with a tire iron, while another man reportedly pulled a gun.
The three suspects fled the scene before police arrived. Bishop was transported by ambulance to Atmore Community Hospital and later airlifted to a Mobile hospital.
Further details have not been officially released.

Just because you “know” someone, Eve, does not mean they are good. Apparently they have some type of serious problem to beat a person to the point of being life flighted over rims supposedly. If this CRIME was committed due to anger, being drunk or high it was still a crime. If this Skyler R is such a badass to beat a man in front of his young kids why is he running like a wussy? Maybe since you know them “good” boys so well Eve you should contact them and tell them to turn themselves in so MY tax dollars are not being used to search for these fugitives.
To bad they had a tire iron cause i believe My brother wouldve handle the robbery on his on with these guys..thats why a weapon was used… and a gun pulled on ny mother age 73 . neds kids witnessed this also… alot of damage has been done to my family over Wat ???? NOTHING THAT IMPORTANT I PROMISE!!! Just so those of u I didn’t get back to.we thank each and everyone for the prayers and calls. Ned is doing good!!!! Sad cause he thought these boys was his friends…. Believe me justice will be served!!!!!!

@ Eve, I don’t know what you consider Good kids, because that is definitely not the case with these three boys, and that’s not a story, that’s the Facts! Unless you consider drugs, alcohol, acting like thugs, disrespectable and the list goes on as being good, that is not my meaning of Good Kids!! See, guns dont kill people. People use whatever they have on hand. . .butter knife, tire iron. Doesnt take much preparation to be armed and dangerous. And “good” boys dont do this kind of thing. This was a “Bad” decision.

In the city — or rural towns — thugs are thugs… Proof that the only person who can protect you….is YOU, not the police. Practice good situational awareness, obtain a weapon — and the training necessary to use it properly, then carry it 24/7.

these kids jump this guy over a set of rims and it takes three people with one of the three holding a gun ….one in custody and two still running….u can run but cant hide and in some situations its better to turn ur self into the cops because im sure ned has family that r not going to be to happy about this…
