Woman Injured In Early Morning House Fire

One person suffered burn injuries in a house fire early Saturday morning in Gonzalez.

The fire was reported about 12:20 a.m in the 2100 block of Highway 29, between Kingsfield Road and Tate School Road. A female resident reportedly suffered burn injuries to her upper body and head after a fire erupted in her kitchen.

The burn victim was transported to Baptist Hospital by ambulance; her condition was not available early Saturday morning.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.

    *This is truely heartbreaking. They are nice, giving people that do not deserve to lose what they have lost and go through the things they are and have went through. They would give the shirt off their back to help others. Everyone is praying for her health and his strength to support her and think positive no matter what as well as asking God to be beside her and mend everyones broken hearts!

    I know this woman & her husband very well. They are friends of my father & stepmother. They are wonderful people!! She is in the Mobile, AL special burn victims hospital & I wish for nothing but the best for her & my heart goes out to her family! They are devistated! She is a very strong woman & I know that God is on her side! =) Family & friends, please keep her in your prayers as I will have her in mine!
