Leatrece Jeanette Nall Wolske

April 16, 2013

Leatrece Jeanette Nall Wolske surely went singing into God’s home of eternal love and grace on April 6, 2013, in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Born July 9, 1925, in Atmore, she was one of five children and the youngest daughter of Stephen C. and Florence E. Nall. She grew up and lived in the Bellview area of Pensacola, where she completed Tate High School and was an active member of Bellview Baptist Church, its choir and programs for many years.

Leatrece had a beautiful talent for engaging and entrusting herself to people wherever she lived. Throughout her life she developed many caring, devoted and loving friendships. She was one of the beautiful flowers along life’s path that brought joy to each heart that she touched.

Late in life she married Leonard Wolske and moved to Cary, Illinois. After her husband’s death, she moved to Fredericksburg, Texas, where she lived near her sister for many years. She was a well-loved and faithful childrens’ helper and door greeter of Faith Baptist Church in Fredericksburg.

In her last years, she valiantly struggled with the increasingly debilitating symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease, from which she succumbed.

She is survived by her sister, Eleanor and her brother, Stephen and a loving bunch of nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held in Corpus Christi, Texas on Thursday, April 18 at 11:00 a.m.

Memorial donations may be made to Faith Bellview Baptist Church, Pensacola; Faith Baptist Church, Fredericksburg, Texas; or Alzheimers organization of choice.
