Blood Drive Thursday In Walnut Hill

April 29, 2013

A blood drive will be heldĀ  Thursday from 8 a.m. until noon at the Walnut Hill Fire Station on Highway 97.

“Please donate if you are in general good health and encourage others for the need is always real,” said Sarah Noel, blood center community relations coordinator. “Help save lives by donating it could be the life of your loved one, neighbor or your own.”

Noel pointed out that diabetes and many medications will not prevent someone from donating blood.

i pray all does go well,I am going to be there,it will be my first time, yall be careful tho driving down Hwy 97, those people drive way over the speed limit,I wish The police would patrol that road more often i have seen so many “nearly head on” accidents,It is not safe I just wish drivers would respect the posted speed limit, and adjust their speed according to road conditions, stay safe out there Yall!
