Search Continues For Missing Woman; Exclusive Details Coming

At a press conference Monday in Poarch, Escambia County (Ala.) Sheriff Grover Smith said the search is continuing for Melinda Wall McGhee who was last seen alive 10 years ago Sunday. And lead investigator Tommy Calhoun said authorities are retracing their steps, going back through years of investigative work looking for that clue that might solve the case.

    Its been 10 years and nothing…the attacker or attackers were probablly arrested shortly after and now in jail..or dead.That may explain the silence and no leads for so long.Check the prisoners that are from the area that were arrested shortly after the disappearance. Usually somebody that would do this is somebody who has a history of violence or rape or some kind of criminal history. Look up the ciminals and see if somebody could possibly be linked somehow

    I believe the investigators should go back and see what was going that year and month she disappeared in the neighborhood .. If there was a house being built check under the foundation under the cement of the house in the walls, check the near lakes and ponds check surrounding neighbors basements . Think people think !!

    My heart goes out to you, the family members. I hope and pray with new technology, they can finally give you the closure you need. Ten years is an awful long time not to know. I couldn’t sleep at night if it were my family. The person or persons involved need to be brought forward and be tried and/or charged for this. They have put you, the family through pure torture and they need to pay. Let’s just hope they are caught before something else happens to someone else. Many, many prayers going out to the McGhee family….

    I sure hope they can give the family closure..I think about her often, we have to go through the poarch community to go to our camp and everytime we do I say a little prayer that they can find out what happened to her..
