$3,000 Reward Offered For Info About Burned Cat

A $3,000 reward is being offered for information about who set a cat on fire in Escambia County.
The female cat, named Valiente, was found in the 7900 block of Mobile Highway in Beulah on March 16. It was bound with zip ties and severely burned; authorities believe an accelerant was used in the fire.
The cat is now in the care of the Escambia County Humane Society, and a group called the Escambia County Animal Advocates is offering the reward for information that leads to an arrest.
Anyone with information is asked to call Escambia Animal Advocates at (850) 780-3223 or, to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at (850) 433-STOP.

wow! I cant imagine enjoying doing that to a helpless little animal! I wont even run over a squirrel or a rabbit! whoever did it is mental and needs help!!!
SICK SICK.. I hope they find the low life that did this. Poor little cat. Animal abusers should be punished to the full extent of the law. AH… I could go on and on..

WOW….saw this kitty, Valiente, on t.v. news and although burned and mistreated she was “making biscuits” with her paws and bumping her head against the handler. Both cat signs of affection, trust and happiness. I hope the person who did this horrible act is caught soon. What is next, some neighbor’s kid? Evil.

I’m telling you now, if someone can do this to an animal that can’t defend itself or talk, they can do it to a human as well. I hope they catch whoever it is and punish them to the fullest because I assure you this isn’t the first time and won’t be the last time they do something like this.
