Body Found In Cantonment

March 10, 2013

A body was discovered late Saturday morning in Cantonment off Nowak Road, near Upland Road.

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office said the body has not been positively identified but may be that of a person previously reported missing . The Sheriff’s Office said foul play is not suspected in the person’s death.

The body was found after a planned search for human remains by Escambia Search and Rescue that began earlier Saturday morning. An autopsy will be performed by the Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the exact cause of death and the identity of the person.

Further information has not yet been released by the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.

esar and the klass kids were requested to do a search of the area by the escambia county sherrif’s dept after they were unsuccessful in being able to find the missing person after original reports were filed aproximeyly two to three wekks before the reason that the klass kids were called to the area is due to there k-9 search team who played a very valuable role in the search and assisted esar land and k-9 teams who discovered the body

If it was a man why was Klass Kids involved? Aren’t they committed to missing children?

They were looking for a male that went missing 3-4 weeks ago. the body found was a male approx 100 yards in the woods from where the male lived. until actual identy is verified to be that of someone else all assum the body is the male they went searching for.

Not confusing. It seems they found the body when they happened to be looking for someone else. Considering Klass kids was there and all and the report says investigators don’t think foul play was involved, I think it’s coincidence that this particular body was found.

Was the search originally for the missing person from years ago they were looking for a month or so ago, and they just so happened on another body? What prompted the search to begin with? The article is a little confusing.
