    REGARDING:
“@429SCJ- u say take the killer’s life but then u say pray for them that doesn’t seem right!!”

Shouldn’t be confusing. 429SCJ believes killers should be killed and people who mourn should be comforted.

    David for simplicity

A woman lost her life to murder.

The person who pulled the trigger should have their life removed as well.

Prayers for her family and the value of life.

When the truck was attacked by the rock in the Whataburger parking lot, there was no specialized response team for that! They just took it for granite that a rock was all wadded up under a semi trailer.

The “Gun Crime Response Team” has been activated! I feel safer already.

Where’s the “knife response team”, “blunt object response team”, and “vehicular homicide response team”? What about “DUI response team” and “child abuse response team”? Can we get a “response team” for everything?

Hey, I’m hungry! Time to call for the “Pizza delivery response team”!

No slack – Murder is murder and its against the law no matter the weapon.

Should there be specialists to investigate violent crimes? I would think so; But to differentiate by weapon used? Meaningless pandering to political correctness.

Better to use resources to focus on repeat offenders. It may not be “PC” to say so but I think we all kow that if the murderer is caught there’s a 100 to 1 odds that he will have a rap sheet a mile long.

Why don’t we have a Repeat Offender Task Force and focus on the criminal – not the weapon. Because its not PC, that’s why.

Listen at yourself Jim, a killer walking around is a threat to others no matter his weapon of choice!

@george-A gun being used leaves the killer walking around armed and more of a danger to others. Trace evidence can be destroyed, If it’s a “crime of passion” where any sort of weapon is used (knife-rock/brick-car or what ever) it is less likely to be of a danger to others. The Gun Response team has done a good job so please cut them some slack. All murder cases are given the top priority.

Thank Goodness the “Gun Crime Response Team” has been activated!

I feel like the high speed professionals that staff the team will make much quicker progress than the normal officers that investigate your average murder where the victim is stabbed or beat to death.

Its too bad other murders don’t get the same response but I guess during times of budgetary restraint we have to accept that the government must prioritize which murders are adequately investigated and responded to.
