Storms Returning Tonight And Monday

A warm front will move north across the region Sunday night and Monday ahead of an approaching strong upper level low. Numerous showers and thunderstorms will spread across the region late Sunday night into Monday.

A few storms could become severe Monday with large hail, damaging winds and isolated tornadoes. Locally heavy rainfall may bring an increased risk of river flooding and flash flooding.

  • Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms, mainly after midnight. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Low around 54. East wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.
  • Monday: Showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could be severe and produce heavy rainfall. High near 70. East wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%.
  • Monday Night: Showers and thunderstorms before midnight, then a slight chance of showers. Some of the storms could be severe and produce heavy rainfall. Low around 49. Southeast wind around 15 mph becoming southwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.
  • Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 65. Windy, with a southwest wind 15 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.
  • Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 40. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
  • Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 64. Breezy, with a west wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph.
  • Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 38. West wind 10 to 15 mph.
  • Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 58. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
