The driver who pulled out in front of me stated to the FHP, that he thought it was one way and never looked north.

I agree. It’s never been a one way street; however no one said it ever was. It was pointed out that people leaving assume it’s a one way. But then again, that’s hearsay. We don’t know what people are thinking when they DON’T think. People fly down that road the same speed as those on hwy 29. I don’t remember the speed limit being the same on both sides. If drivers would be more aware of their surroundings and look more than once before doing anything, accidents like this can be prevented.

Don’t blame road signs, lights or cross-roads for careless driving. Be alert and don’t assume the other driver is going to obey common sense traffic laws.

First, those signs do not block a drivers view! Second, I have lived here all of my life and 95A has never been one-way. People are not paying attention to traffic, road, or driving. Don’t blame FTG or the Road Dept for inept drivers. Grow up, people, pay atrention!

A FTG customer pulled out in front of me there in December of 2011, totaling my vehicle. They pull out assuming it’s one way north. They look south and never look north. I believe eliminating the cross over is the only way to fix it. Put a big yellow left/right arrow where it was and force them to turn. FTG will not like it, but is a cross over worth someone being seriously injured or killed.

In Feb. of 2010 I was hit in the same spot and the vehicle I was in flipped several times before laying over on the driver side door. I had to be cut out of the vehicle and taken to the hospital for injuries. I don’t know what will fix this honestly. If you notice the floral shop has put up a sign that says look both ways. Wish there was some magic fix for this other than blocking the cut through. I doubt anything will help. Glad everyone was ok.

How many times will this happen before they are forced to remove the triangular signs blocking the view of traffic. After the first bad wreck they atleast moved them off the state right of way.this is the third accident that the exact same spot in a year.
