@poohbear- The robbery was commited in the vicinity of the schools. The schools were locked down to protect the children and staff in case the thieves tried to hide at one of the schools or take children for hostages to prevent capture. Parents were concerned about the welfare of their kids. That’s how the schools are connected.
How are the schools connected to the bank robbery?
We dont want to pay more taxes. We watch as our schools are the victims of cutbacks. Our teachers have limited supplies and are underpaid. However, you all are worked up because they didnt call to report news to you? What would you have done anyway?
I received a letter in my children’s backpacks along with an automated phone call from Lipscomb.
Lack of communication is a huge problem in our schools.
I definitely didn’t recieve a call. It would have been nice to know!
Yes we did lockdown all area schools as a precaution and the school board should’ve notified parents via the automated voice messaging system .
Did they lock down belview elementary? If so hoe come no parents
were called?
