Toyz For Kidz Bike Ride Provides For Needy Kids

December 9, 2012

Santa had some very special helpers Saturday as the LA Bikers rolled through Bratt, Flomaton and Atmore making sure that needy kids had presents for Christmas this year.

It was the 12th annual toy ride organized by the LA Bikers.

Dozens of children received new bicycles and helmets, clothes, shoes and lots of toys. Over 100 bikers took part in the event with stops at Bratt Elementary, in Flomaton and Atmore City Hall.

The LA Bikers 12th annual Toyz for Kidz ride was a huge success. Not only did we exceed the number of families and kids this year we had 129 bikes to ride out along with a few car riders that wanted to come along to support the cause. Special thanks to the shoppers, food preps, route organizers, David’s Catfish House of Atmore and to our very own Santa. If you missed this wonderful experience mark your calendars for next year and remember we are local.
