WHY DOES THE SCHOOL ROOF NEED TO BE REPLACED? STORM DAMAGE OR POOR INSTALL THE FIRST TIME? IT SHOULD BE LOOKED AT CLOSELY AND SEE IF THE ORIGINAL CONTRACTOR SHOULD HELP PAY FOR THIS NEW PORTION. THE ROOF ON MY HOUSE HAS A 30 YEAR WARRANTY. A COMMERICAL ROOF SHOULD BE AT LEAST AS GOOD OR BETTER THAN A RESIDENTIAL ROOF. THE COUNTY TAXPAYER NEEDS TO BE GETTING A BETTER VALUE FOR THE DOLLAR. I DO NOT MIND PAYING FOR SOMETHING IF I GET SOME VALUE FOR THE COST.

The roof on Mol;ino Park School was installed in 2003 jusr before school started in its first year. This would make it about 10 years old. Not to good for normal
    service.

Most roofs are 25 years to 30. I reckon the tax payers cannot get those shingles for schools. Are is it a flat asphalt roof?

“The new roof will include a standard 15-year warranty.”

Which naturally leads to the question: How old is the old roof?
