No Injuries In Truck Crash

December 13, 2012

There were no known injuries in a single vehicle wreck Wednesday night near Molino.

The Molino Stations of Escambia Fire Rescue responded to the area of South Highway 99 and Highway 196 about 10:15 p.m. after an area resident reporting hearing a traffic crash. Firefighters found a drilling truck that had crashed and overturned. The driver had already left the scene when firefighters arrived.

    REGARDING:
“Don’t you think if the truck was stolen, this article would say so? If it were stolen they would have taken him in last night.”

So the one claiming to be the owner of the truck and that it was stolen was lying when he wrote “I am the owner of this truck the truck was stolen by two people”"

    David for good, honest people

@429SCJ –”They were transferring the truck from one of my brothers house to the other brothers for work in the morning.”

@ Trent @Mason @ Witness, stolen/not stolen. I wonder where in the world they were going in that rig and what they were going to do when they arrived?

Yeah, you’re right, he doesn’t have a license but that is the least of his worries. He was hurt and caught a ride to the hospital. Minor injuries? Go talk to the doctor in the ER. I guess you know more than they do. Last time I checked, 3 broken vertebrate and staples wasn’t very minor. Stolen? They were transferring the truck from one of my brothers house to the other brothers for work in the morning. The owner of the business is in jail. Not the truck owner. The truck owner is my brother, who is in business with Y. My brother has the title to the truck in his name. The driver, my brother, did talk to the police last night. They know who was driving. My other brother was in front of him when it happened, he never left the scene and also talked to the police. Don’t you think if the truck was stolen, this article would say so? If it were stolen they would have taken him in last night.

The truck was stolen! The man driving fled the scene because he isn’t want to get in trouble or not having a license. The deputy’s are on the situation and the reports have been filed. Further investigation will be made against the two who took the vehicle. The man driving was walking fine and didn’t seem to have any serious injuries. Possibly only minor injuries.

“”"He left the scene because he knew that he had to get to a hospital”".

No, HE left the scene because the Driver of the truck has not had a Driver’s License in a long, long, time!!
Many folks know him well, and he is a “Good old Boy”, one of the best well drillers around. Seriously, a nice person who has made a bunch of stupid mistakes and apparently continues to make them!
I hope “Y” gets his stuff together one day, he is not getting any younger!!

He is injured. Staples and stitches in his head and 3 breaks in his vertebrate. He left the scene because he knew that he had to get to a hospital. He did talk to the police. And no, the truck was not stolen. Hes family and it was his brother’s truck.

It wasn’t at 10:15 because I came by around 6:45 pm and the truck was there, but no police or anything, just 2 trucks sitting at the end of Hwy 99 blocking south bound traffic.

I came through there with my mom a little after 4pm yesterday and the driver was already out of his truck talking with someone that stopped. The cops were pulling up as we topped the hill. I’m just glad the driver was okay.

I drove by here at 6:10 last night and there was a trooper already there with several other trucks sitting around. Glad to see no one was hurt too bad.

I’ll bet he gets written up for this when he shows up for work this morning.
