Fire Damages T Street Furniture, Antique Business

December 6, 2012

Fire heavily damaged a furniture and antiques business on T Street in Pensacola Wednesday night.

Firefighters fought the blaze, saying that furniture and items inside the building hampered their efforts. The fire apparently started in a building primarily used for storage adjacent to the main building.

The exact cause of the blaze is under investigation by the Florida State Fire Marshal’s Office.

There were no injuries reported.

That looks like the antique warehouse store that was recently vacated by the vendor. Could be vandalism or….? I’m curious to see what the Fire Marshall says.

This neighborhood really needs cleaning up. I’m surprised there aren’t a lot more of these type of fires.
