Escambia County: Chiefs Are #1

The Escambia County Road Department is wishing the Northview Chiefs good luck in Friday night’s state playoffs in a big way. A lighted highway sign in front of the school is flashing “Chiefs Are #1″ and “Good Luck Chiefs”.

Thank you to The Escambia County Road Department. This is just great of you, to support The Northview High School Chiefs.
I’m sure someone is going to complain about the use of county equipment being used for something like this, but I think it’s AWESOME! Those kids are part of the community, too, and deserve the attention. Good for them, good for the county road department for showing its support, and good for boosting community pride in the north end!
