Driver Cited After Hitting Building

A 25-year old Escambia County man was cited after colliding with a building Sunday afternoon.
The Florida Highway Patrol said 25-year old Kaneilius Wells was eastbound on Copter Road when he failed to stop at a stop sign. His 2012 Dodge Avenger went airborne after hitting a driveway entrance before colliding with an industrial building at 8826 Grow Drive.
Wells was cited for violation of a traffic control device and no proof of insurance, according to the FHP.
