Voting on Election Day is much more exciting to me.

Work all day, get off and go cast your vote, go home, cook dinner with the family and pour a stiff drink while waiting to see who America chooses to lead the country for four more years.

No matter your choice, get out and VOTE!

Jeb Bush extended voting times when he saw that there were people who simply were not going to get in to vote. Charlie Crist did the same. Alabama has no early voting because (and they have this on video) blacks vote early in very high concentrations, especially on the Sunday before election day. I lived in Palm Beach County for ten years, including 2000. Republican strongholds had literally ten minute lines. Democratic leaning district had hours long lines. Rick Scott cut the early voting period almost in HALF in spite of the worst record in the country. In 2000 and 2004 they had police licence checks in Democratic districts throughout the state. These guys don’t miss a trick. Jeb did the right thing. Crist did the right thing. It’s so obvious and so blatant, but Scott doesn’t care. The prediction when he shortened the time was that Florida would be chaos. They were correct. This is an unintended consequence. It’s precisely what he intended. It’s worse in Ohio and Colorado. They don’t care who thinks they’re trying to steal the election as long as they win 5-4.

David…the voting lines wouldnt be so long if folks took the time to mark a sample ballot before they arrived at the polls. What do you thinks gonna happen on Tuesday when people show up unprepared….those three hour lines will be ven longer. Too many chose to not take advantage of absentee ballots or early voting. Many of which are just unprepared to cast a vote

Many states don’t even allow early voting. Pretty Sure Alabama is one of them. Vote on Tuesday. The Political machines and their lawyers are going to be trying hard to muddy the water.

A deliberate disaster is unfolding in South Florida with early voting. Rick Scott has refused to do what the past two Republican governors have done, extend voting time to allow for the demand. I walked into the library and voted in ten minutes. In South Florida Democratic districts, the lines are three to five hours. This is the same Rick Scott who is screaming about vote fraud. He’s holding out for a 5-4 win for his party. If that happens, he will have made the vote completely illegitimate.
