Escambia County Commissioner Kevin White and other dignitaries will cut the ribbon at the grand opening on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in an open house event that concludes at 1 p.m.

The old Molino School has been renovated into a modern community that will include a library, meetings rooms and a museum with a glimpse into the history of Molino. However, it appeared as of Monday that while the building will open Wednesday, the library and museum will not yet be furnished and ready to serve the public.

A newly constructed second building houses offices for the Escambia County Tax Collector and the Escambia County Property Appraiser is already open at the complex.

The new Molino Community Complex is located at 6450 Highway 95A in Molino, just south of the Highway 95A and Molino Road intersection. The public is invited to the ribbon cutting; refreshments will be served.

So grateful to the Escambia County commission to finally invest in the usually ignored section of the county. I pray they will continue to stimulate community. It is soooo important.
