Over Six Thousand Cast Early Ballots On Saturday
October 28, 2012
Thousands of early voters flocked to the polls in Escambia County Saturday, the busiest single early voting day ever in the county.
There were 6,421 early voters Saturday — that compares to 6,685 early ballots cast over eight days back during the August primary election. In just 12 hours on Saturday, the Supervisor of Elections Annex on Muscogee Road in Cantonment recorded 1,381 early ballots, already exceeding August eight-day traffic by a few dozen voters.
Early voting will be available through Saturday, November 3 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the following locations:
- Supervisor of Elections Annex, 292 Muscogee Road, Cantonment
- Tryon Branch Library, 1200 Langley Avenue
- Supervisor of Elections Main Office, 213 Palafox Place, Second Floor
- West Florida Public Library, 200 West Gregory Street
- Southwest Branch Library, 12248 Gulf Beach Highway

We’re coming for you Obama!
Or to elect a new one.
I saw a glorious sight today. At least two large tour busses, with many citizens, who appeared to have just left church, entering the polls, and voting on S. Palafox. There were Pensacola Police Officers there to help with the traffic congestion caused by the large busses, and the pedestrian traffic. Only in America can you find such dedicated citizens, who would take time on Sunday afternoon, to exercise their privilege to re-elect their president.
