Cottage Hill Water Works Boil Water Notice Lifted

A precautionary boil water notice issued by Cottage Hill Water Works was discontinued Friday afternoon.

The notice had been issued following a water main break for the following areas:

  • Williams Ditch Road
  • Clymil Drive
  • Gainey Lane
  • Glenna Lane
  • Wishbone Road
  • 1762 Elna Road

    I did not receive any boil water notice. How were we notified? Were YOU notified?

    it is hard for these systems to update all of their water lines at once. There are alot of upgrades needed, but with the current state of the economy even municipalities don’t have the money that they need now to make cost worthy improvements. They know that lines need to be replaced, but unfortunately they have to do it on a “true need only
    ” basis. MAYBE all of this can be resolved with a different man leading us as a country. Then maybe all will work out and filter down from the top.

    Are these just old systems breaking down or are they going through and replacing old water lines everywhere?
