Connie Mack, John McCain Make Escambia County Campaign Stop

October 24, 2012

Former presidential candidate John McCain joined U.S. Senate hopeful Connie Mack for a “Freedom Tour” rally Tuesday at Seville Quarter before a crowd of military members and veterans.

Mack promised that if elected, he will fight any cuts to military spending. He also vowed to make sure that funding is available for not only active duty, but also veterans.

Mack is running against incumbent Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson.

This information came from the last Fact-check in Forbes

If you count the $70 billion in donut hole spending and ignore the $22 billion in offsetting Part D cuts, you get to a ratio of 11 to 1 instead of 15 to 1. But remember that the donut hole changes affect only 6 percent of seniors, whereas the remaining $786 billion in cuts affect everyone. So it’s fairest to use the $48 billion figure and the 15:1 ratio.

If the past and future Leaders of this country would stop removing funds from either Medicare or SSI they would remain solvent well into the future!!!!!!!!

Not impressed with Bill Nelson…he voted for Obamacare and cuts in SSI and Medicare.
