Two Charged In Credit Union Robbery

The Central Credit Union on Foxrun Road just off Nine Mile Road was robbed about 1:10 Tuesday afternoon.

Suspects Reginald L. Augst, 36, of and Heather Grace Menze, 30, both of Seminole, AL, were located a short time later at the America’s Best Value Inn on Pensacola Boulevard near Burgess Road, according to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.

Both were identified by credit union tellers as the robbery suspects. They were charged with robbery with a firearm or deadly weapon and are being held in the Escambia County Jail on $20,000 bond each.

Following the robbery, a group of males was detained at Airport Boulevard and Highway 29, but they were later found not to have any involvement, deputies said.

    Same ones that stole a truck in Seminole and robbed the gas station in Elberta, Alabama…

    yes i know Heather she worked at the pride gas station in Seminole Al. very nice girl never thought she would do something like this that goes to show you that you dont know who you are dealing with its the damn drugs taking over these kids they just dont care a easy why out now shes going to do hard time for this act and im very sorry to see this happened to her going to miss you baby girl. To all the kids out there is 10-20 to life worth it think about it . peace out Woody

    Thank you LEO’s for protecting us! It is becoming alarmingly dangerous anywhere we go. I would have never dreamed that our streets in this county and our country would be taken over by thugs and evil. My prayers are always with the men and women that do what they can to protect us in this world.

    My 5 year old son and I should have been there at that time, but I was late leaving work. When we drove by an hour later we saw all the deputies’ cars and I immediately pulled up North Escambia. Thank you God for your protection!
