Sheriff’s Office Operation Clean Sweep Program Turns Two
September 20, 2012
The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office and cooperating agencies is recognizing the second anniversary of the Operation Clean Sweep program.
For the past two years, Operation Clean Sweep has worked to clean up neighborhoods while curbing crime in Escambia County neighborhoods.
The focus of “Operation Clean Sweep” is to work with Neighborhood Watch groups, residents, churches and business owners to control and prevent the damaging effects of criminal activity, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Its a good thing. But don’t give the areas any notice. That gives the bad guys time to re-locate.
They never came up or down our street, but then we are not up to anything illegal.
The program seems to be working well and goes to show why Sheriff Morgan is so very popular in Escambia County
its great but if they don’t keep em in jail they will be right back on the streets. its good they are picking up the “people” trash though.
Not just about getting rid or trash or serving citations to clean up dangerous debris…it is about making arrests on outstanding warrants!
