This is so not right to do to these children these boys play cause they want to win shame on all who is letting this go on and not taking a stand for the children these boys have nothing to loose only to gain someone who can help this probablem at TATE needs to step in I know for a fact that most of these boys in little league who love to play are already looking at other schools cause they play to win and love it. And yes as a parent I know that its not all about football but for some of these boys who would be going to TATE next year their school grades and love for the game is enough to get them to collage. I dont think that Cantonment or Ensley parents want to deal with the mess they got at TATE and I dont think TATE could even handle their parents. This game is for the children and TATE is failing these boys in a bad way someone needs to man up.

Well Tate fans, alumni, parents, and followers of Tate football lets recap…..you currently are 0-14, you’ve been out scored 155-7 so far in 2012, you lead all the categories that impact a team negatively in class 1-6A and yet the people that can do something about this travesty do nothing……for 6 years you held on to Rigby trying to make it work and it failed miserably and you go out and hire one of his assistants thinking it would change! are you kidding me!!!!! This was your best hire? How about over riding the rule of prior head coaching experience for this job…West Florida’s Lee was an assistant how did get hired? Oh BTW he just smoked you 56-7.

Let’s face it Tate faithful, nothing will ever change until things change administratively. By now we all know that if every school in the county makes a stride towards improvement with football except one (Tate) and it continues to get worse every year there must be problems at the level of interviewing the candidates. Until this changes nothing will every happen to impact this program in a positive manner.

I’m not affliated wtih Tate football, but lets think about it. Tate has a losing record for years, they fire the coach and hire his assistant. Humm, wonder if things will change, don’t think so. If you want to turn your program around Tate, you need to fire them all and bring in some new folks. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure this one out, Just saying

Cheifs Fan, I agree with you ,last week we played a team a top ten team and scored 50, this week we should have run the score up an struggled. If we would have played a good team tonoght we would have had 5 int’s tonight .

TATE parent I feel for the players every Friday, and my kids are in the band. So, I don’t have much of a dog in this fight, but its just ridiculous for the coaches not to man up to what is happening, and like I said its not the kids… Maybe they don’t have the best talent in the county but they shouldn’t be getting blown out every week either. There are some really good players on the Tate team! It would not take much to caoch them up and with some decent play calling (which I have yet to see… that’s on you coach) they should be able to put points on the board and make it respectable… Its not much to ask, is it coach?

The coach(s) did what to the freshman coach’s? My son loves his coach, doing a fine job. I will personally ask the freshman coaching staff and also other parents. If this happened, the coach(s) that said that to a group of players needs to be fired. It will be looked into.

This is just getting to the point that SOMETHING must be done! My son, and other kids shared something with me tonight at the game. They said the Varsity coaches, gathered the freshman players up during school and told them basically the freshman coaches were terrible and that wed practices would always be held with the JV and Varsity coaches – so they could “learn”. First off, the parents are well pleased with the effort, the instruction and the dedication the coaches are doing with our freshman players. Also, there was some kind of letter that went out from an angry mother addressing the JV/VARSITY coaches getting their feelings hurt by the freshman coaches – grow up!! The answer from the head coach, bring up freshman and get them hurt by the JV and Varsity practice. It is always the players and never the coach when talking to the JV and Varsity coaches. Ask anyone at the latest QB Club meeting. When confronted, the head coach yelled and left the meeting, and later resigned from the QB Club? Mature. Talking bad about the freshman coaches to players. Bad, just plain old bad. How about bad play calling on the offense. Tate, with same old coaching, you get same old results. Loss after loss.

Its obvious why Tates is not good, and its not the kids or lack of effort either… Why run out of the shotgun if the center can’t consistantly get the QB the ball? Why not run more out of the pistol that the center was doing great and they were able to move the ball very well? Then in the second half go back to a wing set…that makes them very one dimentional… If the offensive play caller would notice that the other defense did not have a player further back than 5 yards beyond the line of scrimage shouldn’t you call a pass? Yes, the Tate offense is the most predictable offense I have ever seen and that would include many peewee and middle schools… The play calling is just terrible and they are out coached every Friday… Here’s a clue Tate coaches, if you have the ball inside the 5, its second down with less 40secs on the clock, and the other team calls a TO… CALL 2 PLAYS so you can get up to the line and not let the defense get a chance to adjust… But NOOO… get in the huddle and call a run up the middle, when the defense has 10 guys bunched on the line… great move… Hope coaching is not the Tate coaches primary employment, because its not working out…
