Man, Age 72, Gets 30 Years For Child Porn

A 72-year old Santa Rosa County man has been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for child porn.
Joseph Richard Robson, Sr. received the sentence after he pleaded guilty to production and receipt of child pornography.
According to his plea, special agents from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations (ICE-HSI), with the assistance of members of the Northern Florida Internet Crimes against Children Task Force (ICAC), executed a federal search warrant at Robson’s residence. Agents seized a number of computers, cameras, storage devices, and other items.
Forensic analysis revealed that, during 2010, Robson “used, persuaded, induced, enticed, or coerced an eight-year old child to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing a visual depiction of such conduct”, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
Between 2010 and 2012, Robson received and stored approximately 6,085 files that contained images and/or videos of child pornography, the DOJ said.
As part of his sentence, Senior United States District Judge Roger Vinson also imposed 10 years supervised release, with the conditions that Robson attend sex offender treatment and that he register as a sex offender.

Child molestion is the 1 thing that destroys families for the rest of their (Victems) lives. I say if you molest a child & your way older like 10 yrs or more older. U get the death sentence. I will personally pull the handle. People dont understand their selfish sexual acts cause mental illnesses that last a lifetime. Unfortunately not thiers. Sadly , Molested children are usually a sighn of the molesters past as well. I was molested gives them the right to continue it? Hell no. If i was raped as a teen or child that doesnt give me right to do it now. I pray you who feel it ok to do such things as this, Wait till its redone to u once youve arrived in your spot in your next life. They surely dont know or have a conciuos. I do. I wish i was the judge & jury of all who has committed this to children. In the old days u didnt get a chance to plead your case. Didnt have the problems we do today.

Am I missing something? Says he was sentenced to 30 years, he is 72 and the judge imposed a 10 year supervised release after counciling. When does Supervised release start? After the 30 or immediately?
What was the 10 years supervised release for again??? so when he is 102 he can be set free as long as be attend sex offender treatment? … sounds good to me… can’t be too careful with those centennials ya know.
