Escambia County To Spray Areas For Mosquitoes Tonight

Escambia County Mosquito Control will conduct a “fogging mission” tonight from 6:30 until 10 p.m., weather permitting:

Area 16A North Boundary Texar Drive
South Boundary Cervantes Street
East Boundary Osceola Boulevard
West Boundary Hayne Street
Area 29A North Boundary Tree Swallow Drive
South Boundary Airport Boulevard
East Boundary Hilburn Road
West Boundary Pensacola Boulevard
Area 32A North Boundary Interstate 10
South Boundary Mobile Highway
East Boundary Jamesville Road
West Boundary Ruby Fish Camp Road
Area 33A North Boundary Interstate 10
South Boundary Blue Angel Parkway/Longleaf
East Boundary Wymart Road
West Boundary Pebble Creek Road
Area 42A North Boundary Kingsfield Road
South Boundary Nine Mile Road
East Boundary Highway 29
West Boundary Ryale Road

Fogging mission hours vary by start and conclusion times, but generally adult mosquito pesticides are applied in the early evening hours. We ask residents to keep travel in these areas to a minimum during spray times.

    I really wish they would spray around the Century/Byrneville area like they used too! We all need it and not just certain areas in pensacola. I understand the West Nile cases may have originated in those areas BUT we need to prevent any WN cases from popping up around here.

    Yes! Jacks Branch please!!! My neighbor refuses to cut his field! The weeds are 4 foot high! His poor horse and donkey have to wade thru it. It’s a mosquito pit!

    Would appreciate a little coverage in the Molino area also. I feel the approach tAken by Dallas to perform Ariel spraying would be good. If the local Government is ever proactive about anything it should be our health.

    What about stefani rd and ten mile rd area? Will the kingsfield and nine mile area cover these areas as well? Should pets be brought inside too?

    When can Cantonment residents expect to get their areas to get sprayed? We’re off of Hwy 97.
