Not all in this GREAT world are heros. We all slip or back slide and make mistakes in life. Give this officer the benefit of the doubt before you bash him.

I am tired of everytime a cop might do something they go in the public. Maybe he did not do it, but now his/her name is mud. I know several cops and they cringe everytime one of theirs gets accused of something, then get cleared. Iwork security and when one does it “then we are all guilty.” Not true. I did not ignore the rule and go into the area without safety stuff. Or ignore the rule about the smoking area. ect…. Just try to remember that not all cops are bad.

I’m wondering when the average American citizen will realize that there is no employment without its flaws and potential criminal elements. Police are no exception to this situation. I find it MORE deplorable when police violate their employers (we the taxpayers) and the trust of the community by helping engross their own financial situation.

I’m curious to know if Mr. Johnson is collecting his pay while on his 5 day suspension. That wasn’t acknowledged in this article.
