Judith Groover Robbins Hall

Judith Groover Robbins Hall, 70, died peacefully in her sleep on August 7, 2012, after a three year battle with lung cancer. She was born July 1, 1942, in Macon, GA, to John Edward and Beulah Mae (Johns) Groover. Her early years were spent in the Waycross, GA, area and Palatka, FL.
A longtime resident of Walnut Hill, she was a homemaker, a member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church and a pioneer of Northwest Escambia Little League. But her real passion was people as evidenced by her 40 year involvement with Tupperware.
She is survived by her husband, Ernest Jerry Hall; her step-father, Irvin Beasley; sons Alan Robbins (Anneliese), Jacksonville, FL, Phillip Robbins (Cheri), Pace; stepson Mark Hall (Debra), Thomasville, GA; brothers, Larry Groover (Jo-Anne), Gunter, TX, Joe Beasley (Susie), Stockbridge, GA; grandchildren Alex, Travis, and Ashton; step-grandchildren Jennifer, Katie, Bruce, Wendy, Megan, Brandon, Jerica, Samantha, and Lacie; nieces, nephews, numerous step great-grandchildren, and special friends Arlene Delafosse, Sharon Dawson, Geraldine Campbell, Tina Oscar, Jackie Lloyd, and June Hall.
She is predeceased by her first husband Harrell Robbins; parents Edward Groover and Beulah Beasley; step-son Bruce Hall (June); and brother Marvin Groover.
Funeral services will be held Friday August 10, 2012, at 11 am at Walnut Hill Baptist Church, 5741 Arthur Brown Road, Walnut Hill, FL 32568. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Committal Service will follow at Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Covenant Hospice of Pensacola.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
