I moved here from another State almost 2 years ago, I do not care about the car decals! I care about my safety and the safety of my neighborhood and the neighborhoods around me. We both think that we have GREAT law enforcement here and give a GREAT BIG thanks to Sheriff Hall and his Department. He does a LOT on his tiny budget. Our County at home had a huge budget compared to his and we never had patrols riding thru our neighborhoods or felt so safe, OR could ask for extra patrols of our home if we were away on vacation. I love their attitude of holding onto juveniles and having their parents come and get them. They ARE their parents responsibility! Why are the parents home asleep when their “lovely” children are out creating havoc. The Sheriff’s Dept. has that 100% correct! They do not waste their time sitting around with radar guns – they are out fighting crime and making ALL of our neighborhoods safer! We listen to them on the scanner very often and they ALL, each and everyone in that department work very, very hard. And my husband and I are VERY PROUD to have SHERIFF HALL AND HIS DEPUTIES representing us and protecting us from the “bad guys”! All Roper wants to do is “traffic” – he wants to give out traffic tickets and run radar guns – we went to a presentation – where they all spoke! I do not want law enforcement that thinks their main job is giving me a traffic ticket for going 47 in a 45mph zone – THAT IS NOT REAL LAW ENFORCEMENT! VOTE FOR SHERIFF HALL. The State Highway Patrol does a fine job of traffic enforcement, that is THEIR job, AND they do a good job; let THEM do it. Their is NO reason for the Sheriff’s Dept to spend their (our) money to duplicate that effort. SHERIFF HALL IS DOING REAL LAW ENFORCEMENT WORK FOR US- EXACTLY WHAT HE IS PAID TO DO!

Chris Roper is the BEST man for the job!! I personnally know him and he is down to earth, truly cares what the people’s opinions are, and has the experience to put in to action what needs to be done for Santa Rosa County. When you cast your vote, keep all these things in mind!!!
GO CHRIS ROPER!!! YOU HAVE MY VOTE!!!!!

Folks we need to get rid of happy spending hall. Take a leisurely drive around the SO and see the waste that Hall has generated. Why aren’t these vehicles(cruisers) and impounds being auctioned off? We can’t afford his budgets any more. The markings on the cruisers he has now is a waste in itself. Whats wrong with simplicity? There are enough of them around for the county to know who you ARE. New blood in the SO is needed Vote ROPER.

GO Chris Roper. Chris is running as an independent. We need to finally be rid of Hall!!

    >>Could you please tell me if “Chris Roper” is no longer in the running for Sheriff?

Hall will face Roper in November. Roper is running as a no-party candidate, so he was not in the primary.
