Schools Closed Wednesday In Escambia, Santa Rosa

Public schools will once again be closed in Escambia County (Fla.),  Santa Rosa County and Escambia  County, Ala., on Wednesday.

Decisions regarding Thursday will be made during the day on Wednesday, but officials are expecting classes to resume on Thursday.

Pensacola Christian Academy is closed. Escambia Academy (Atmore) is open.

Temple Christian Academy in Atmore will also be closed on Wednesday. The school will follow the decision about Escambia County, Ala., schools on Thursday.

    Thanks, William! We usually get an automated call from the BOE, but so far we haven’t. We’d've had our son out there waiting on the bus at 6:30 in the morning!
