My phone is still having problems. Texting keeps retrying and calls are getting dropping constantly.

MY phone was fading in and out with calls and finally starting receiving voice message calls and texts late Thursday evening. Several other verizon customers were having the same problems but others that have verison network were only working at half status. And their were others that had full service.

This is kinda funny, cause Frontier is the one usually out. Frontier in my opinion is the worst Internet company out there. “lightning fast DSL” excuse me while I laugh. I actually get more use out of my AT&T 3G. I know we are talking about Verizon but AT&T is just as sweet as Verizon. AT&T in my opinion that is the way to go. I will admit in some places Verizon works great but AT&T wouldn’t do a thing.

I have noticed that when you get into the Pineville area there is no service on ATT?
The Molino Fairgrounds is also a dead zone.

I have AT&T and a TRAC phone (backup phone)…both were working all day. Of course when we have strong storms no cell phone works…that is why I keep my landline.

Well …far as I can tell No access on my T-mobile phones & the neighbor said she had no signal on her At&T cel. …Started around 4:00pm it is now 11:22 at night…tryed chatting online via the home computer…a lot of Rig-a-ma-roar to not really fix a thing…the girl on the chat would not fess up to there being a greater problem…I told her in closing to tell the engineers!

William, Thanks for keeping us updated. I was wondering if I had touched something in my new phone to make it not work. I use StraightTalk and it also use the Verizon Phone network.

I understand problems will happen but for those of us to rely on our phones for business it would be nice if they heard something announcing the problem is with verizon

  18. joshua p on July 18th, 2012 6:19 pm

whatever the problem is,its affecting straighttalk’s network as well;no talk, no text,no data

  21. Jennifer Qualls on July 18th, 2012 5:58 pm

I’m hearing people on other carriers saying their phones are not working properly either! Hmm..No date on our Verizon, phone calls go through here and there. Solar flare?

  22. Cindy Johnson on July 18th, 2012 5:53 pm

Still cannot access email as of this note and having to use roaming feature to make any phone calls. This has affected me since around 1:30 or 2:00 today from Niceville to Freeport to Miramar Beach (where I am now).

I would certainly hope Verizon will provide some type of compensation for this significant of an outage. Unfortunately, I rely on my cell phone for my business and so does my husband…

My wife called, or tried to, to advise me she was held up in Ft. Walton. Well not really “held up”…just detained. She had to use her OnStar system. Thank goodness for back-up systems.

  24. Didier on July 18th, 2012 5:32 pm

Verizon Wireless voice stopped around 4:30 in Fort Walton Beach, data intermittent, voice just restarted at 5:30
