More Rain Possible Tonight

Heavy showers and thunderstorms dumped several inches of rain in parts of North Escambia Thursday afternoon while other areas received just a few light showers. The National Weather Service says more rain — some of it heavy — is possible tonight.

  • Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 1am. Some of the storms could produce small hail, gusty winds, heavy rain, and frequent lightning. Cloudy, with a low around 72. Southwest wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
  • Friday: Showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could produce small hail, gusty winds, heavy rain, and frequent lightning. High near 91. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
  • Friday Night: Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 72. Southwest wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
  • Saturday: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 91. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
  • Saturday Night: Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 72. South wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
  • Sunday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 92. South wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
  • Sunday Night: Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 72. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
  • Monday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 93. Light and variable wind becoming south 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
