Escaped Alabama Prisoner Recaptured

A state prisoner with ties to South Alabama was recaptured Friday afternoon in north Alabama.

The Alabama Department of Corrections said inmate Rhonda Hopkins escaped from a job site near Midfield, Alabama, on Thursday afternoon.She was captured walking down a street in Midfield.

She was serving a five year sentence at the Birmingham Community Based Facility after being sentenced in Mobile County for theft and possession of controlled substance.

    No more work camp for you! When you are back behind bars, it’ll be hard time for the rest of your sentence PLUS whatever they add on for your stupid escape activities. You will get caught! It might be now, it might be later, but you’ll always have to look over your shoulder for this stupidity.
