Two Busted Inside Davisville House, Charged With Burglary

June 29, 2012

Two Illinois residents were jailed after Escambia County Sheriff’s deputies caught them inside an empty house on Highway 97 in Davisville.

Margaret H. Tripamer, age 45 of Oak Lawn, IL, and Lonny R. Gray, age 44 of Ingleside, IL, were both charged with burglary, trespassing and criminal mischief property damage. Both remained in the Escambia County Jail early Friday with bond set at $5,500 each.

The owner of the home in the 11000 block of Highway 97 — the first house  south of the Alabama state line — called deputies after he stopped by and saw two people inside the house which is up for sale.

Deputies arrived with the male and female still inside and ordered the pair outside. Gray told deputes that he and Tripamer were interested in purchasing the home. He said he attempted unsuccessfully to contact the realtor, and the duo decided to enter the home and spend the night due to their level of interest in purchasing the house, the arrest report states. He  told deputies he thought it would be acceptable since he found the front door open.

Tripamer refused to speak to deputies without talking to a lawyer.

The realtor, Patty Davis of Atmore, told deputies that she had never spoken to either Tripamer or Gray and had no voice messages from either one.

Deputies reported that a backdoor latch was off the hinges and the door had obviously been kicked in. They also found clothing and personal items belonging to the suspects inside the home, according to the report.

Thank you Bob. I knew that she had been in some trouble but not about the rehab. I know that Lonny has a record as well. He seems to be what I call a “revolving door”…..It is so sad that people allow themselves to get to a point of thinking there is nothing more in life worth doing than just existing….and even then when they incorporate drugs and alcohol into it, they don’t even do the “existing” well. I do pray that God will help me to forgive them and just
let me get out of the way and let Him have his own will.

Margaret has long record of drugs and arrests in oak lawn, il. Margaret has been in and out of jail and rehab at least 5 time in the last 2 years… and she just was released for rehab.

    moma mia,

You may have seen them on the 27th (wed) because they apparantley were going to have a nice steak dinner that evening. They are still in jail as I check dailey, several times a day….want to make sure that rehab is working for them after all.

To follow up on what my cousin (love you by the way) said….oh how true, that tree holds many wonderful memories for us all why not add one more. They are extremely lucky they did not get stupid and hurt them. Extremely!!

I do hope that they will get the much needed help and I do pray for them but it still hurts knowing that what little peace we had all found from loosing her could so easily be uprooted with something like this. You are right Maw Maw MInnie would just look at us and say “now child why you getting upset about something that you know God can handle?!” Man, I used to hate it when I couldn’t just pout a while before she put me in check but I love that she did and BECAUSE she did, none of us ever find ourselves in the position that these two have now found themselves in. Thank you so much Maw Maw for the way you loved us. Sure miss you, you sweet soul.

I can almost bet I saw these two in the davisville piggly wiggly yesterday!

As my cousin put it so eloquently earlier, GLAD TO HELP!! Our grandmother would have given anything she could to help people out and would never ask for anything in return. I hope that these morons getting busted like this will really help them in some way but i seriously doubt it. People who are in it like they are usually never come completely out of it. If it looks like white trash and acts like white trash then its white trash! And they are still staying somewhere for free. 3 hardy meals a day, exercise and an AC!! Our grandmother would say to pray for them. I can do that but I can’t help but imagine my family beating the stew out of them against our favorite climbing tree in MawMaw’s back yard!!! I know one thing for sure, life would really be bad for them if they had hurt my aunt and uncle who found them there.

My grandmother would have gladly helped anyone in need, but for these two people to attempt the lame excuse that they “thought it was acceptable since he found the front door open” is just a slap in the face. Seriously dude! Wow, let me go check out some million dollar plus homes and just stay in it for a night or two….hey, if I’m going down, I’m going down big! Also what the “rest of the story…..” didn’t tell you is that there was drugs and bottles of alcohol found as well.

They weren’t just passing through either, I’ve seen both of them around Pensacola as well.

Yeah, you could say I am a little aggravated. My grandmother passed away in January and this invasion just brings back some of that for us, because now we have to toss out some of the furniture and mattresses, because they weren’t exactly the cleanest nor the most careful at not staining things. Just the thought of them sleeping in my grandmothers bed alone is enough to make me want to throw up. If you needed help we would have helped but to just go in and mess up someone else’s belongings because you have a “habit” and just want to crash….don’t think so scooter. It doesn’t happen that way in the south! However, we are a polite and helpful, God fearing people, so I’m thankful we were able to help you….how’s those three hot’s and a cot working out for you now? comfy! and let us not forget that instant “rehab” we were able to help get you into….gotta be feeling real blessed right about now! GLAD TO HELP!
