Two Arrested For Flomaton Robbery

June 6, 2012

Two Flomaton residents have been arrested in connection with the weekend armed robbery at a Flomaton convenience store.

Levi Sadderwhite, 18, and Eric Mathis, 16, are both charged with robbery first degree for the robbery of the Kangaroo Express on Sidney Manning Boulevard about 10:30 Saturday night. Authorities said Mathis has been adjudicated as an adult.

The incident, which was captured on the store’s surveillance video, shows two white males entering the store wearing black ski masks. One of  the suspects was armed with a pistol, Flomaton Police Chief Daniel Thompson. After the robbery, the duo fled on foot, leading to a unsuccessful man hunt that lasted for several hours.

    @ no excuses.
jail/prison is a life changing experience. just because u go to jail or prison does not make you a bad person. and “tired of teachers tellin us what to do?’ no. maybe someone grew up in a bad environment? think of the possibilties before you comment on the internet. i bet u have done something wrong before to. maybe you didn’t break the law but who are u to criticize someone? and actually these two happen to be best friends and are changing individuals. btw i am not harrasing or making a “personal attack”

Just because they made a bad decision does NOT make them bad men.

Guess these two got tired of teachers telling them what to do. Now, they can go to prison (or Juvie) and be what to told all day long. Obey, and be OK. Defy and go to the hole where it’s REALLY comfortable.

To Century – parents can be good people and have rotten children. They do their best, but in the end, the child makes the decisions that affect the rest of their lives! At least his kid can’t say he didn’t know any better, if he’s as good a man as you say.

So I guess Klownz and I were right about what probably happened. I wasn’t pointing fingers at the school kids first of all. I said it could have been and that was a good place to start because of the Khaki pants.

I am confused, queen b. What part of the article credited any particular department with the arrest? Was it Flomaton, Escambia County, or whom?

let’s hope that no slap on the wrist is applied, otherwise this will be the first of many problems from these two.
