Second Cantonment Man Charged With Robbery Outside Bar
June 4, 2012
A second suspect has been charged in connection with robbing a man outside a Pensacola bar.
Jeremy Terrell Jones, age 24 of Calloway Street in Cantonment, was booked into the Escambia County Jail on charges of robbery without a weapon and petit theft. He was released on a $27,000 bond.
The victim said he was outside The Game Plan on Fairfield Drive about 2:20 a.m. on March 31 when he was approached by two black males later identified as Jones and 22-year old Deangelo Kirkland of Cantonment.
According to an Escambia County Sheriff’s Office arrest report, Kirkland told the victim that he owned him money. Kirkland then grabbed the victim from behind and choked him until he lost consciousness.
When the victim awoke, he discovered his iPhone 4S and car keys were missing.
Kirkland was arrested last month on robbery without a weapon and petit theft charges. He was also released from jail on a $27,000 bond.
