Man Upset Over Traffic Ticket Threatens To Blow Up Sheriff’s Office
June 22, 2012
An Escambia County man apparently upset over a traffic ticket was arrested Thursday for threatening to blow up the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office.
Ronald Harrell, 23, received a ticket about 4 a.m. Thursday after running a red light at I-10 and Avalon Boulevard in Milton. After receiving his ticket, deputies said Harrell drove to a nearby residence and called 911 five times, using profanity in reference to the traffic ticket.
Deputies were dispatched to the home from which Harrell was making the 911 calls. According to an arrest report, he then began to rant about the ticket and that he was “not going to stand for it”. He then said he was going to get three deputies, blow up the Sheriff’s Office and then kill himself. “Somebody has to make a statement over this injustice,” he said, according to the report.
Harrell was booked into the Santa Rosa County Jail for threatening to discharge a destructive device and misuse of 911. His bond was set at $20,500.

Looks like he made his “statement”
I feel certain the state legislature will hold an emergency session to make it legal to disregard traffic signals. The world will be a better place for this.
good job
REGARDING;
“He was charged in 06′ for firing a missile into a dwelling vehicle. “
You will notice the one who was charged with firing a missile into a building or vehicle was born in 1959 (Ronald Lee Harrell) and the state decided to not prosecute.
This one is 23 in 2012 (most likely Ronald Wayne Harrell who was born in 1989, thirty years later).
On the other hand, you may have some other source of information and this one may have been involved in that one too.
David for cool heads
boy oh boy…I hope they through the book at him. If the punishment really fits the crime people would not be a REoffender. Go get’em Santa Rosa.
Mr. Harrell appears to have a pretty decent record in Escambia County. He was charged in 06′ for firing a missile into a dwelling vehicle. The sad part about that one…the court modified his bond conditions, deleting counseling requirements…HHMM! I hope this time, since it all took place in Santa Rosa County, that our justice system holds a much higher standard this go around.

I’ll huff and i’ll puff and I’ll blow all you little piggies jailhouse away, from the inside out.
perhaps a breathalizer would be in order, too.
Now he REALLY has something to be angry about!
Anger managment classes for this guy in his future!
He has more problems now than running a red light. Iam sure his family will say what a nice guy he is and the deputies are picking on him.
