The 2012 graduating class from the Escambia County School District has earned over $23 million in scholarships, according to Superintendent Malcolm Thomas.

“That speaks volumes about this year’s graduating class,” Thomas said, adding that the Class of 2012 scholarships are higher than any other graduating class since he has been superintendent.

“Students that are willing to study and work hard have excellent opportunities to be reward,” he said.
