Escambia Woman Convicted Of First Degree Murder

June 22, 2012

An Escambia County woman was convicted Thursday of the 2010 fatal beating and burning of a 19-year old woman.

It took a jury only about an  hour to return the first degree murder conviction of Tina Lasonya Brown, 41.   Brown faces life in prison or the death penalty.

Brown is one of three women accused of brutally beating and burning 19-year old Audreanna Zimmerman in an Ensley field. Zimmerman lived for 16 days after the attack.

I read the police report that had Audreanna last words before they put her in a drug induce coma, first thing she said was the names of the people that did that to her. Then she begged the EMT’s and fire marshal to not let her die! She begged them to save her life! They told her she would be ok & they will take care of her. If the jury was able to hear what her last words were, I’m sure she will get the death sentence. Tina’s daughter (Britnee) was 16 yrs old when she helped her mother kill this 19 yr old girl, what sentence does everyone believe Britnee deserves?

Makes you wish we still believed in an eye for an eye, doesn’t it?

Burn her and the other two who took this young woman’s {Audreanna Zimmerman} life. Since we all know that isn’t going to happen. We need to petition for a chain gang of our own. One that does NOT provide covered shelter, hot showers, hot meals, shoes, and any other things inmates have access to. Put these kind of individuals to work in the heat with blistering sun rays on the hot black pavement from dawn to dust 365 days a year….just to start with!

Would YOU want to be in prison with a person who would do such things?
