Six Women Arrested In Escambia Prostitution Sting

Six women have been arrested for prostitution following an undercover sting in Escambia County.
The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics and TAC units conducted the sting in the Brownsville area, using undercover officers posing as “Johns” and arrested the women after they agreed to services for cash.
1st Lt. Mark Jackson, officer in charge of the Narcotics Unit, called the sting a success and said other random undercover operations will be conducted throughout the county.
Charged with prostitution were:
- Syntreal Leean Spearman, 18
- Lorraine Renee Sumler, 28
- Cindy Diane Wilson, 28
- Cynthia Elaine Finney, 33
- Frances Elizabeth Fowler, 39
- Rachel Nicole Bundy-Moriawiec, 31

I didn’t check all of them but at least some had previous drug related charges. Pimps learned years ago that it was easier to make and keep prostitutes under their control if they could get them addicted to drugs. Very few just have sexual relations out of the joy of contracting and passing on to others assorted sexually transmitted diseases.

Girls used to be so modest, of course, most of their mothers taught them to cover them selves and be good girls. I always wonder why
when so many women used to be such prudes, why now, are so many
thinking so little of themselves and exposing them selves to any ones
view. What did happen in these girls lives that they now think so little of
them selves that they trade sex for money to any one with the change.

Its unfortunate how drugs can over take a person. These women are someone’s daughter, mother or sister. There are grieving parents, children and siblings. As I understand ultimately these women have made choices maybe unknowing the true consequences. Lack of self worth, respect and all other negative emotions revolving in their worlds put them where they are. The moral to the unfortunate circumstances is judgement is upon all of us, within ourselves. Those of you saying Ewww and How and Why or whatever negative, you should know the facts of the reality. Educate yourselves before you start throwing stones. Drugs take over a person like a Demon. Instead of everyone sitting back poking snide remarks, we should stand up and pick solutions in a positive direction. Its not a walk in the park dealing with someone in a drug coma world. Its an emotional rollercoaster never ending distraught tantrum. You can’t tell an addict enough what they are doing wrong or its killing them. They tune you out as if they can’t hear you. They are always chasing the first ever rush they encountered. Its awfully sad and painful.

THESE GIRLS NEED OUR PRAYERS!!!!! They are skanky now, but they are still worthy of our prayers and they , if willing, could turn their lives around. Something went horribly wrong in their lives to get them here but the Lord can fix that.

Pimps if there are any should be rounded up as well. The johns who frequent these people need to go get a check up! ASAP! That is a pretty rough looking crew. I understand people do drastic things to make money but there are those who prey on the weak and needy like the Pimps.

I know some will say the same old things–LEO’s should solve big crimes. If you feel you can do a better job of it get certified and work in law enforcement. LEO’s work “stings” on the johns all of the time. The “up-standing” people who are arrested runs across the board. Most say they were just asking for directions, the LEO females are wired and then the person who is arrested want to know if that’s legal. GOOD WORK LEO”s
I hope these ladies can put their lives back together. People make bad choices in life. Try thanking God for giving you the courage to say no and do the right thing. Pray that these people can make a change and live a better life. It’s never too late unless you die. Ask yourself, what if God criticized us for all we do and never forgive us? We all sin and fall short of the glory of God, but because God is a loving,merciful and forgiving God. He washed our sins away. He forgives us over and over again, so why can’t we reach down and help someone who has fallen by the way side and give them a helping hand rather than try and keep them down with our mouth.

Just in time for the election. Isn’t it funny how the good Sheriff puts out any arrests to make it look like he’s doing a great job. We will see arrests for Petty Thefts before this election is over. It’s a little late in the game for this type of crime. Can you give us the current clearance rate for the violent crimes that have taken place this year Sheriff. It seems that the crimes are there to investigate, but no one is clearing the cases. Please don’t say that if the public doesn’t help, then it can’t be cleared. It’s called good old fashion police work. It does require them to get out of the office, away from the lunch table and out in the street to clear them. I know it sounds like something called work.

Everyone is so quick to demean these women but the men who have kept them in business should be held accountable also. Why is it that no one ever thinks of the scuzzy men who pay for their services?

Wow… I’m surprised that this kinda thing is still happening around town. Its like one of those things that you think is happening, but you just don’t wanna believe it!! And I hateee that this was going on so close to where I live. It’s ridiculous!!! But I give Thanksss and Good Job to all of the police officers who were involved in the arrests of these 6 women!! Keep it up!
