Man Charged With Fathering 13-Year Old’s Child

A Molino man is free on bond this morning after being charged with fathering a child with a 13-year old girl.
Michael Lee King, 26, was charged with three felonies — sexual battery, lewd and lascivious battery, and child abuse. He was released from the Escambia County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
According to an arrest report, King first had non-consensual sex in 2010 with the girl when she was 12 years old. Their sexual encounters continued for over a year, she told investigators, until King was arrested on unrelated charges in August.
At age 13, the girl became pregnant, giving birth at age 14, according to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office obtained a voluntary DNA sample from the 14-year old girl and baby, and obtained a search warrant for a DNA sample from King. According to a Florida Department of Law Enforcement lab report, there was a 99.99 percent probability that King was the father of the child.
King did not provide deputies with a statement prior to his arrest, according to a Sheriff’s Office report.
At the time of his arrest, King listed his address as a trailer park on Barth Road in Molino. He previously resided on Highway 164 in McDavid, according to jail records. The abuse incidents occurred in McDavid, according to the arrest report.

To all you claiming we don’t know “the whole story”, feel free to elaborate. Someone with his DNA impregnated at 13 year old girl, that can’t be disputed. So, what’s the defense? Did aliens implant it, or was he forced at gunpoint to perform? Did a DNA expert make up false reports. I’m really curious how anyone can possibly defend his actions.
DNA doesn’t lie! Even if this girl wanted to participate in sexual activity, she cannot legally consent! Plus, he is (supposed) to be an adult; he should know better! Again, DNA doesn’t lie. The physical evidence points to this man having sexual relations with a child! How anyone can defend him is beyond me!
One thing is for certain… This CHILD MOLESTER WILL serve HARD Prison time & it WONT be easy….

Did it not say that the DNA test proved he was the father of this CHILD’s baby? Ok so hmmm let’s look at this…..if he is the father how do you think he became the father? He gets a 25000 $ bond for something he did, while other people that make one mistake, end up with a half million $ bond. Jeesh this is ridiculous….

Florida Statute 800.04
LEWD OR LASCIVIOUS BATTERY.—A person who:
(a) Engages in sexual activity with a person 12 years of age or older but less than 16 years of age; or
(b) Encourages, forces, or entices any person less than 16 years of age to engage in sadomasochistic abuse, sexual bestiality, prostitution, or any other act involving sexual activity
commits lewd or lascivious battery, a felony of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084.
(5) LEWD OR LASCIVIOUS MOLESTATION.—
(a) A person who intentionally touches in a lewd or lascivious manner the breasts, genitals, genital area, or buttocks, or the clothing covering them, of a person less than 16 years of age, or forces or entices a person under 16 years of age to so touch the perpetrator, commits lewd or lascivious molestation.
(b) An offender 18 years of age or older who commits lewd or lascivious molestation against a victim less than 12 years of age commits a life felony, punishable as provided in s. 775.082(3)(a)4.
PROHIBITED DEFENSES.—Neither the victim’s lack of chastity nor the victim’s consent is a defense to the crimes proscribed by this section.
Michael Lee King violated multiple Florida Statutes. His actions were illegal. He is a criminal simply due to the fact that he is 26 years old and the victim was under 16 years old, even if the child consented. So, for those of you that are defending his actions, regardless of the child’s actions – he is an adult and is therefore accountable for his actions. Poor choice on his part. It’s like I always say, any of us are capable of bad judgement – And we are all just one choice away from being incarcerated. He made a choice.

1. The paternity test done by the state crime lab says it is his child. Undisputable proof that something happened at least once.
2. Is does not matter if he loved her, she loved him or anything like that. Feeling don’t matter. Any “adult” contact between the two of them, which happened at least once according to the crime lab, is AGAINST THE LAW.
Period. End of story. He needs a good lawyer and a plea agreement. Just sayin.

The bond is set at an amount to insure the defendants appearance in court at a later date. Bonds are not set as a punishment. With that being said I don’t want the dirtbag out of jail period…..but that’s the system we have.

As far as I am concerned, the PARENTS are 100% as the blame for the start of the problem. If they had been better humans to start with they would have taught the child right as well as they would not have been in jail to leave her to be put in this position.
