Woman’s Foot Partially Amputated In Mower Accident
April 8, 2012
A woman is recovering today after amputating a portion of her foot in a lawnmower accident Saturday morning.
The 55-year old woman was airlifted by LifeFlight to a Pensacola hospital after the mishap in the Pollard Cemetery, west of Flomaton and about two miles north of the Florida state line.
She was reported to have lost her toes on one foot. When first responders arrived, they found that bystanders had used a handmade tourniquet to control the bleeding, perhaps saving the woman’s life.
She was in stable condition in last report. Further details have not been released.

Wow Im definately praying for your mother elizabeth. May he be with her and comfort her
This woman is my mother. She’s doing very well considering the circumstances. God was & is watching over her. Just keep her in your prayers, the recovery will be hard but she’s tough.
This accident brings back horrible memories for me as my grandfather did this
very same thing. God bless her I hope she doesn’t walk with a limp like my
grandfather, but then this could have ended a whole lot worse.
You use mowers so much sometimes people just forget how really dangerous they
can be or for that matter any poiwer tool.
God Bless her again, and Happy Easter to everyone!
How very sad…hope she will recover well!
